Fotografia przedstawia ceglany budynek ze spadzistym dachem. Nad oknem parteru w jego środkowej części znajduje się deska z napisem: Dorfa… (dalej niezrozumiałe ; dorfa- w złożeniach = wiejski, wiejska). Na pierwszym piętrze znajduje się okno, zasłonięte okiennicą. Po jego lewej stronie widać większy budynek z wieloma kominami. Po lewej stronie za centralnych budynkiem widać fragment innego budynku

Według właściciela zdjęcia jego autorem był jego ojciec, inżynier budowy dróg i mostów (specjalizacja w dawnej C.K. Austrii), Mikołaj Bogdanowicz. W okresie pierwszej wojny światowej, jako mieszkaniec Galicji, był powołany do armii austriackiej. W armii tej był dowódcą trzech kampanii saperów, z których jedna była kampanią żydowską. Terenem jego działania był Wołyń i częściowo Podole, gdzie w czasie wielomiesięcznego „zatrzymania” się frontu budował rowy strzeleckie, drogi, mosty itp.

The photograph shows a brick building with a sloping roof. Above a window of the ground floor there is a board with an inscription: Dorf ... (then incomprehensible; dorfa- in assemblies = rural). On the first floor there is a window with shutter. On its left side you will see a larger building with several chimneys. On the left side of the central building you can see a fragment of another building

The author of the photograph was the father of the photo owner. He was an engineer - building roads and bridges (a specialization in the former KK Austria), Mikołaj Bogdanowicz. During the 1st World War, as a native of Galicia, he was appointed to the Austrian army. In this army he was the commander of three companies of engineers, one of whom was Jewish company. The area of its operation was Volhynia and partially Podolia, where during many months of "stopping" of the front he was building trenches, roads, bridges, etc.
